What happens if I import a new email address that is already unsubscribed or invalid in Taguchi?

Taguchi will keep all subscriber preferences and information when importing already existing subscribers. However, we don't allow subscriber's with an invalid or global unsubscribe status to be reset by UI imports.

While you can mark someone as globally unsubscribed via a UI import, you can't clear the global unsubscribe flag via an import.
