Why is my number of opens higher than my number of emails sent?

The statistics on the Results tab of the Activity area are non-unique. Multiple opens from the same subscriber are counted. Unique statistics are available in the Activity Report. You can generate this by checking the box next to the invite activity and selecting Generate Report from the Select an Action drop down menu.
