To locate a subscriber in V4, you will need to have one of the following pieces of information relative to the subscriber you are attempting to locate:

  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • External ID (if applicable);
  • First name;
  • Last name

Once you have information that matches one or more of the above, navigate to a subscriber list. If you have a master list with all/most subscribers, navigate in to that list. If you have multiple lists with different subscribers in each list, look for some active lists and navigate to one of them. You may need to repeat this procedure for each list if you fail to find the subscriber.

Once you are within a subscriber list, use the search field in the top right corner of the subscriber list table and adjust the search param to the relative field (e.g. if you are searching for an email address, select the email option). Then click the 'Go' button. If you have a large subscriber list, the search may take a few minutes to perform.

To locate a subscriber in V5, you will need to have one of the following pieces of information relative to the subscriber you are attempting to locate:

  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • External ID (if applicable);
  • First name;
  • Last name

Once you have information that matches one or more of the above, log in to Taguchi. On any main screen, you will see a search bar in the top right corner, click on that and start typing the subscribers information you have obtained. The search results will appear underneath the search bar. If an applicable match is found, click on it to launch their subscriber profile.

If you are having issues locating a subscriber in your Taguchi organisation, it's always best to go back to that subscriber and ask for additional information such as a recent eDM sent to them or any alternative email addresses they may have. Some subscribers set up auto-forward functionality on their email which means they receive the email to a different address, this makes finding a subscriber difficult without any further information from them.
