Why has a subscriber received multiple copies of the same email?

A subscriber may receive multiple copies of the same email for the following reasons:

  • Duplicate profile - The subscriber may have two subscriber profiles with the same email.
  • Forwarding service - The subscriber may have a forwarder set up to send from one email address to another. For example, if a subscriber someuser@taguchimail.com.au has email forwarded from that address to someuser@taguchimail.com they may receive multiple copies of the same email. To check that any mail forwarding service is active, contact your ISP/Mail provider or mail system administrator. This can not be checked by Taguchi.
  • Something happened when the email was processed by the receiving server. Contact your ISP/Mail provider or mail system administrator. This can not be checked by Taguchi.
