Security Controls
Taguchi values the security of your account and organisation. We have security measures in place to mitigate any possible incidents.
Session Management & Inactivity Periods
Session management in V5 includes the use of websockets, a HTML5 standard which makes communication between Taguchi and your web browser more secure and simpler.
This allows for more effective and secure session management. As long as you keep a browser window or tab with an active Taguchi session open, you will remain logged in without having to re-authenticate.
Application Level Security
- All Taguchi authenticated pages use HTTPS, any data being transferred is handled securely through SSL.
- Account passwords are hashed and stored securely. This means nobody (not even Taguchi Staff) can see your password.
- Our login pages and API are brute force protected.
Tips to Keep Your Account Secure
- Use a secure, strong password and never disclose it to anyone, including a Taguchi team member. We will never ask for your password or any other sensitive information.
- Enable two-factor authentication (when available)
- Check for viruses and malware on your computer regularly
- If you are using a public computer, remember to log out of your account and clear forms, passwords, cache, and cookies in your browser on a regular basis.
