Taguchi values the security of your account and organisation. We have security measures in place to mitigate any possible incidents.

Session Management & Inactivity Periods

Session management in V4 includes a 15 minute inactivity period where we will automatically log you out of your account to prevent any unauthorised access.

Ensure you regularly save any changes made to activities. If you do not wish to be automatically logged out, simply remain active within the browser window (this could include navigating around the UI or changing content in an activity).

Session management in V5 includes the use of websockets, a HTML5 standard which makes communication between Taguchi and your web browser more secure and simpler.

This allows for more effective and secure session management. As long as you keep a browser window or tab with an active Taguchi session open, you will remain logged in without having to re-authenticate.

Application Level Security

  • All Taguchi authenticated pages use HTTPS, any data being transferred is handled securely through SSL.
  • Account passwords are hashed and stored securely. This means nobody (not even Taguchi Staff) can see your password.
  • Our login pages and API are brute force protected.

Tips to Keep Your Account Secure

  • Use a secure, strong password and never disclose it to anyone, including a Taguchi team member. We will never ask for your password or any other sensitive information.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (when available)
  • Check for viruses and malware on your computer regularly
  • If you are using a public computer, remember to log out of your account and clear forms, passwords, cache, and cookies in your browser on a regular basis.
