Activity check, subscriber imports and exports involve subscriber lists and therefore may take some time to process due to multiple contributing factors such as:

  • The size of the subscriber lists
  • The complexity of the target expression involved
  • How many items are in the queue
  • Is there an item being currently processed such as an import or extract?

Since Activity Checks, imports and exports can take up precious processing resources, we employ a queue system for large scale processable events such as these. These events all form part of the queue where one line item processes at a time.

This means that if you import a large subscriber list (200k+ for example) and conduct an activity check immediately after that within the same organisation, the activity check will not be delivered until the large import has completed.

Due to these factors, some events such as activity checks, imports and exports could be delayed up to an hour or more. If you are encountering a delay in one of these events, it's best to check your pending imports on your dashboard.

Imports in progress

Simply navigate to your dashboard and scroll to the bottom. The second box from the left shows the imports currently in progress. If there is an import in process, this will be the cause of any delayed queued items. The third box from the left shows recently completed imports, if an import is displayed here, then the import has completed and you should expect any further queued items to process and complete shortly.

Due to these factors, some events such as activity checks, imports and exports could be delayed up to an hour or more. You can check the progress of queue items in your notifications. Simply click the notifications icon in the top right corner and scroll to find any active queue items such as extracts, imports or activity checks that are currently generating.

Imports in progress

If there are items currently generating, this will cause a delay for any further queued items. Please wait for the queue to clear before generating any further extracts/imports/activity checks.
