Acitvity testing algorithm options in Taguchi
Taguchi supports three types of testing algorithims for activity testing:
Test only
- Even split
- Custom split
Test and optimize
- Smart optimizer
These are accesible via the 'Testing' options in the 'Features' tab.
These can be applied to A/B split and multivariate tests.
Even split
Even split testing involves sending the different combinations of your email to equally divided portions of your audience. This helps determine which version performs best based on key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, or conversions. It's ideal for testing elements like subject lines, content layout, CTAs, or send times in a controlled and balanced way.
Custom split
Custom split testing allows you to define your own audience splits for each combination. This type of testing is useful when you want to put weight to one combinations over another.
Smart optimizer
Our system does not treat each combination equally, instead we ensure the better performing combination is sent more often to result in a better performing send with higher open rates, CTR (click-through rates) and conversions.
