Understanding Taguchi User Roles
User roles determine what each person can view, create, edit and administer within Taguchi. Assigning the correct role helps protect sensitive information while ensuring users have access to the features they need.
This guide explains each available role, its permissions and when to use it.

| Create and manage audiences without full database management | Base User + Database - Manage Audiences |

- Optional Role = Available by assigning the corresponding role to a Base or Power User.
- The Database - Manage Audiences role grants audience management without the broader Database Manage permission.
- Coupon management is included with either Content Edit or Database Manage.
Best practices
- Follow the principle of least privilegeβonly grant the access required for a user's responsibilities.
- Regularly review user roles and remove unnecessary permissions.
- Assign Administrator access sparingly.
- Remove or downgrade access when team members change roles or leave the organisation.
